Patricia Gonzalez
Counsellor & Life Coach
Patricia is a compassionate and holistic therapist who supports individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Having immigrated to Canada from Mexico, she brings a deep understanding of cultural transitions, identity shifts, and the experience of starting over.
Patricia’s work is grounded in the belief that within each person already exists the joy, peace, and clarity they long for. Therapy becomes a space to gently explore and process the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be standing in the way. She also supports clients in accessing post-traumatic growth, helping them transform adversity into deeper resilience, meaning, and personal strength.
In her sessions, she offers practical tools, supportive resources, and a clear, step-by-step approach to help clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Her background in law and leadership, combined with her training in counselling, holistic wellness coaching, and yoga, allows her to provide a balanced, grounded, and compassionate path toward healing and personal growth.
Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and integrative, blending evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other modalities, with somatic, mindfulness-based, and yoga-informed practices. She believes that meaningful and lasting change happens when both the mind and body are included in the healing process.
With a deep interest in transpersonal psychology, Patricia recognizes that healing can extend beyond symptom relief into questions of purpose, identity, and inner alignment. She integrates this perspective with care, offering space for clients who feel called to explore the deeper dimensions of their inner world.
Areas of focus: Anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, ADHD, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, stress, and personal growth.
